(Riverhead, NY) On Thursday, November 14th, Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. welcomed Rohan Murphy to the Sheriff’s Office and the Riverhead Correctional Facility.

Rohan is a nationally recognized motivational speaker, athlete, and wrestler from East Islip, NY, who lost his legs at birth. He started to wrestle in his freshman year of high school. After a successful high school wrestling career he went on to wrestle at Penn State University. In addition to wrestling, Rohan is also an accomplished powerlifter, representing the USA in international competitions all over the world. Rohan spoke with young adults in the Riverhead Jail about intrinsic motivation and overcoming adversity.
